Lemony artichokes

In my family we love artichokes and this is a quick way to prepare them and serve as a side. Ingredients: 4 artichokes 2 lemon slices ½ cup of water 1tbsp of oil Salt and pepper Tools: 1 pan Method: Cut off and discard all but 3cm of the artichoke stalks and with you hands remove the tough outer leaves. Fennel and Grapefruit Salad

Serves: 2 Prep: 15min Difficulty: easy Some of you have asked me for more salad recipes so here you go: Fennel and Grapefruit salad! This is a really easy but tasty traditional Italian salad. Very fresh and citrusy, and with fennels, so much in season right now. I hope you enjoy it. Mamma Flora’s Tip: If you don’t prefer the bitterness of the grapefruit, use instead blood oranges. "Easy Peasy" Peas with Spring Onion and Bacon

Cooking: 45min Serves: 4 Difficulty: easy This is the perfect side as it's very quick to make and everyone of the family loves it. The bacon adds a little cheekiness to it but if you are vegetarian try without it, tasty as well. Fried artichokes - a "must" for Easter

Preparation: 40min Serves: 4 people Difficulty: easy When you come from the South artichokes mean Easter. From mid March you see them in every grocery shop and you smell them in the little streets. My grandmother used to make them this way following the traditional recipe that I want to share with you today. Try them for your Easter lunch, it will be a success!
